Vaping - Gaining Control of This Social Disaster
This was the first study ever conducted of its kind and aims to encourage e-cig and vapor product manufacturers to prioritize public health by redesigning their products. It also suggests implementing a specific tax on vapor products to discourage further usage, with the tax revenue being reinvested into programs that help individuals overcome addiction. Nicotine is the main addictive ingredient in e-cigs and is responsible for causing and sustaining dependence. Although the risks associated with e-cigs are not fully understood, studies are needed to uncover potential hazards.
