Gene Benton

Gene Benton, a former Superior Court judge in the Alcovy Circuit covering Walton and Newton Counties, offers deep insights from his 16-year tenure and nearly 40 years in the legal field. Originally from Monticello, Georgia, he completed his education at Texas Christian University and earned his law degree from Mercer University in 1982. He now calls Monroe, Georgia home, living there with his wife, Christie.
